This is just one of the posts, in my all new, complete coverage of using XBMC. Most of the sites i went to when i first learned about XBMC had absolutly no description on how to use it. Even the XBMC Wiki was very tech savvy, description.

So for all you NON geeks out there… Here’s the low down, step by step on how to install XBMC on Windows.

All My Tutorials are written While i do them my self, so i’m very sure about my tutorials, of course if you have ANY questions or problems, don’t hesitate to comment! I’ll reply A.S.A.P

1. Download XBMC for Windows.

You can Download the Latest Build From : HERE http://xbmc.org/download/

*Beware, the File is REALLY big, might wanna use a download manager, You were warned ! ;)

2. Run the Setup

2.1 Next

2.2 Accept the End User Agreement if you accept the conditions. (PRESS I AGREE)

2.3 Keep the Default Selection of Full for the Installation (PRESS NEXT)

2.4 Select Where to Install it. (PRESS NEXT)

2.5 In this step, if you going to have different Profiles in your computer, and you going to use different Libraries on XBMC for different Profiles, Select the Top Option, to save configurations on the Profile Path.

If you want to use the same library through out any profile, select the second option to save the Configuration in the XBMC installation directory.

Personally I would recommend you use the second option, cause if later you want to move to another PC or if you want to migrate to a different OS, this option will help you greatly simplify things.

2.6 CLICK INSTALL!!

3. Your Done!

Now ok, i know this doesnt even NEED a tutorial, but i thought, if i’m gonna give a FULL coverage, then might as well cover these parts,

Stay Tuned, for The Tutorial on Installing XBMC on Linux!

And Afterwards, how to get XBMC all Configured!!

Till Then!

Your Oscar Mike ;)
